ABOUT

Most women walk into our studio saying the same thing:
“I have no idea what I’m doing in front of a camera.”

That’s completely normal. You don’t need to know how to pose, what to wear, or how to look confident. That’s our job.
At Elevation Boudoir, we guide you through the entire experience so you can relax, have fun, and leave with images that actually look like the best version of you.

Our boudoir photography studio is located in downtown Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and we photograph women and couples from across Alabama, the Southeast, and around the Country

Rachel handles hair, makeup, wardrobe styling, and making sure you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera.
Justin focuses on lighting, posing guidance, and capturing images that highlight your best angles.
Together we walk you through every step of the session so nothing feels awkward or intimidating.

Most clients arrive a little nervous and leave saying the same thing:
“I can’t believe I almost didn’t do this.”

Today Elevation Boudoir is a boudoir photography studio in downtown Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and we’ve photographed women and couples from across Alabama and the Country.

What started as a small idea turned into something much bigger.

Not because of us — but because of the women who walk through the door and trust us with their experience.

And we take that seriously every single time.

A few years ago we were both burned out.

We were working long hours in careers that didn’t feel like us anymore and trying to figure out what the next chapter looked like.

Then boudoir photography came up in conversation.

At the time, we didn’t know much about it. But the more we looked into it, the more we realized something important — most women had never seen themselves in photos the way other people see them.

So we decided to try it.

What we didn’t expect was how quickly it clicked.

The first time we watched someone walk into a session nervous and walk out laughing, excited, and proud of herself, we knew we were onto something.

That moment still hasn’t gotten old.
